DOSSS at Alliance College of Engineering

In charge of managing many facets of student life and well-being on campus, Alliance College of Engineering and Design’s Department of Student Support Services is essential.  To improve the overall student experience, this department provides a lot of services.

Co-Ex Cell


The epicentre at DoSSS is the Co-Curricular and Extra-Curricular (Co-Ex)Cell, which provides a wide variety of experiences.  Through a range of clubs, including the Co-Curricular Clubs, Extracurricular Clubs, Hobby Clubs, and Community Service Clubs, students can explore their interests here:

 

Co-Curricular Clubs: debates, leadership courses, and the arts, students can develop their abilities and cultivate their creativity.

 

Extracurricular groups: Through groups devoted to activism and theatre, students may find and follow their passions outside of the classroom.

 

Hobby Clubs: Students can participate in their interests, such as painting, photography, or other activities, at hobby clubs.

 

Community Service Clubs: Through community service projects, students are given the chance to influence society positively, and students learn social responsibility along with it and become great citizens of the society

Sports and Wellness Cell


Prioritising the physical and mental well-being of students, the Sports and Wellness Cell at DoSSS offers a comprehensive approach to health and wellness:

Indoor and Outdoor Sports: With access to top-notch sports facilities, such as basketball courts and outdoor fields, students may reach their full athletic potential.

Yoga and Fitness: Individually designed yoga and fitness programs help people achieve energy and balance.

Wellness: Prioritising both mental and physical health is important, and there is specialised help available for both:

Mental Wellness: To assist students in maintaining a sound mental condition, counselling is offered.

Physical Wellness: A clinic with nurses on duty around the clock to guarantee students' physical well-being.

Student Welfare Cell


To ensure a harmonious campus life, the Student Welfare Cell addresses the concerns and aspirations of students:

Student Governing Council: Promoting a lively and welcoming campus community by elevating student voices and enabling their involvement in decision-making processes.

Disciplinary Committee: This body is in charge of maintaining order and decency on campus in order to foster a positive learning atmosphere.  

Student Grievances: DoSSS is dedicated to promptly and effectively addressing student issues and hopes to become the one-stop shop for them.
